What we examine

What the SQL Server health check covers

We read and measure; nothing on your servers is changed.

How it works

How a SQL Server health check runs

  1. Intake and access

A free first call about what hurts and which instances are in scope, then read-only access through a personal, named account. We sign your NDA.

  2. Collect the baseline

Remote or on-site, we capture configuration, wait statistics, Query Store, backup and job history, security and capacity.

  3. Analyse and write the report

Every finding is weighed against your workload, ranked by priority and given an effort estimate.

  4. You decide what happens next

You receive the written report. You decide what is fixed, in which order and in which maintenance window.

What you receive

What is in the SQL Server health check report

One written report covering every instance in scope, in Dutch or English.

  • Every finding, with the instance and database it applies to
  • A priority per finding: what is at risk, what is slow, what can wait
  • An effort estimate per fix, so you know the cost before you decide
  • A recommended order for the work
  • The baseline figures, to compare against after every change
